Create sugar skulls for the campus ofrenda.

Sugar Skull Creation

The supplies and direction will be available to create sugar skulls. The skulls created will be used at the three campus libraries to provide to students for decorating.

How to Make Papel Picado

SUPPLIES FOR MAKING PAPEL PICADO

Stop by the libraries at Mayo, Pikeville, and Prestonsburg.

We have supplies for you to make the papel picado for the

ofrenda or to take home with you. 

Events

Decorate a sugar skull, make power flowers or decorate a cupcake to celebrate.

Sugar Skulls

Sugar skulls will be available to decorate with puff paint. 

Cupcakes

Cupcakes will be made available with icing to be decorated and consumed by the student. 

Paper Flowers and Papel Picado 

Supplies and directions will be made available to create paper flowers and the cutout banners.
