It's the 100th issue anniversary of the Casual Reader! The Casual Reader is Big Sandy's newsletter for book lovers. Book reviews of 100 words (or so) are shared. History professor Michelle Fields and library director Judy Howell regularly edit and produce the Casual Reader to keep book lovers up to date on the latest great titles that have hit the shelves or the screens. Here, Michelle Fields and Judy Howell welcome guest reviewers who won the contest for the best books they've read recently. Guest reviewers include Jeremy Dempsey, Sabra Jacobs, Gretchen Bevins, Maggie Kendrick, Eric Mondrovich, Deedria Slone, Hubi Smith, Lydia Clark, Mary Wallen, and Trevor Castle. They also share their own favorites from the last 100 issues of the Casual Reader.
