National Dog Day is celebrated on August 26 annually. Started in 2004 by Collen Paige, NDD was adopted by New York State in 2013 and by the national legislature in 2015. Celebrating all breeds, their purposes in our lives, and their gifts to families across the country. National Dog Doy is a time for celebrating what your dog brings to your life.
