APA Format Reviewed:

• Times New Roman 12 Point Font
• The paper's title page should be centered
  • Title of the essay
  • Author
  • Department and College
  • Course Information
  • Professor's Name
  • Date Submitted
• The body of the paper should have a running title left-aligned and the page number right-aligned
• A written abstract before the body of the paper and headings throughout the body, if requested
• References list on the last page

In APA parenthetical citations are  (Authors of the Citation or Title, Then a Comma, Followed by the Year of Publication), such as

• (Brooker, 2021)

• ("Boogie Woogie: A History of Rock and Roll", 2016)

• (Edmund, Banks, and Foster, 2017)

• (Lee et al., 2009)    <-- if there are more than 3 authors
