Profitt Religion 130: MLA Format and Choosing a Topic

Assignment Requirements:

• Choose topic from approved list. 
• MLA Format
  • Times New Roman
  • 12 Point Font
  • 1 inch margins and double spacing
  • Give Credit to sources in the text of the paper (Parenthetical or in-text).
• 4-6 Pages of text
• 4-6 Sources
• The Paper will be graded on content (what you have to say worth saying), clarity, (how well you say what you have to say), and  construction (rules of standard English grammar and syntax...spelling, sentence construction, paragraph construction, format, etc)

For this class you are being asked to write a comparison paper.  You will need to choose one or more of the 7 common denominators of the major world religions. The you will write a comparison paper addressing this common denominator in at least 5 of the religions under study in this course.
